What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They can help a site work, remember choices and provide information to its owner.

Cookies on this site

The Clerk does not currently use optional analytics, advertising or profiling cookies on this independent website. Our hosting provider may use strictly necessary technologies for security, reliability and delivery. These do not require consent under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations because they are necessary to provide the site.

Newsletter sign-up

When sign-up is provided through beehiiv, its pages and forms may use necessary cookies and similar technologies to process your request and prevent misuse. If beehiiv offers optional choices, those are explained on the relevant page.

Email tracking

The newsletter contains a small tracking pixel and tracked links that report whether an email was opened and which links were clicked. This is explained in our Privacy Policy. Blocking remote images in your email client normally disables open tracking.

Managing cookies

You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may affect how a site or sign-up form works.
